Description:
A 5star boutique hotel outside Stellenbosch is looking to hire an Assistant Manager. The applicant must be self-motivated and be able to manage others. He/she will be responsible for the smooth running of the whole property when the GM is unavailable.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience in the 4–5-star market
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are key and be customer orientated with a bubbly personality.
- Knowledge of foreign languages and wine will be an advantage.
- The successful applicant will need to be a detail person, reliable, prepared to work shifts and weekends and thrive under stress.
- Own transport is essential.
- Hands-on experience in housekeeping, front office and F&B is a must.
