Debt Counsellor:
Understanding the pressing issue of over-indebtedness in South Africa, Debt line has taken an innovative and transparent approach to change the face of Debt Management/Debt Counselling and helping South Africans take charge of their finances.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Checking validity of Form 16’s and supporting documents,
- Issuing all relevant documents from Form 17.1 to Form 19
- Processing proposals (pro-rata and dcrs)
- Gathering and chasing certificate of balances (cob) and proposal responses
- Handling both cp and client queries
- Uploading clients on NCR debt help
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
- Matric/university graduate
- Passed the DC Exam (requirement)
- Registered with the NCR (advantageous)
- Experience in dealing with Credit Providers
- Experience in working on Maximus (advantageous)
- Experience in dealing with terminations (advantageous)
- Clear criminal and credit records
