Mombasa Day Spa and Hair Lounge is a unique salon and spa located in the heart of the red centre, Alice Springs. Set with a beautiful African theme that runs throughout, this makes for a relaxing and unique environment for clients and staff to enjoy. Our client base is continuously growing, and we need to meet the demand!

Are you a talented, hardworking hairdressing with your own personal flare and the skill to prove it? This role would be perfect for you! All whilst exploring and seeing the unique life of the outback.

We are seeking a qualified senior hair stylist that could meet the below requirements:

• Hold their qualification/certificate III in hairdressing
• Hair styling qualification 2+ years’ experience cutting and styling hair in a salon
• Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, colouring, and styling
• Maintain cleanliness of salon and your station
• Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends
• Help maintain adequate inventory of hair products and tools
• Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
• Collect payments for salon services performed
• Be able and willing to follow and learn from our procedures and policies
• Maintain and provide client records and treatment recommendations
• Assist in client bookings and appointment requests
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Friendly and professional demeanour
• Able and willing to work a flexible schedule
• The applicant would need to be able to work well with the team of 5 hairstylist and independently

Note: Mombasa can assist with relocation cost along with assistance with 2 weeks accommodation.

Experience:

• Stylist-1 year (Required)
• Licence- Australian driver’s licence (Preferred)

Work Eligibility: Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
